Once upon a time, Lindsay Lohan would have been among the many A-listers who strutted their stuff in designer gowns at the last night’s Metropolitan Museum’s Costume Institute Gala. Nowadays, the 21-year-old starlet is happy to sport tuff gal attire alongside best buddy Samantha Ronson at various L.A. eateries. Yesterday it was lunch at Cafe il Tramezzino in Beverly Hills.

Rocking black jackets, skull pins and, of course, the you-can’t-leave-home-without-them black Ray Bans, Lindsay showed her true colours following a romantic rendzevous for two.

The 21-year-old washed up actress is set to stage her comeback on May 22 when she will appear as a guest star on Ugly Betty.

Making her first appearance in a flashback dodge ball game, Lindsay plays Kimberly, a “queen bee girl who Betty went to high school with.”

In otherwords, a smallscreen version of a Mean Girl.

Way to stretch those acting wings, LiLo!

    Her comeback stands the same chance as Britney’s back when she performed on the MTV Awards. This girl is over. She blew her chance.

    ^^^^How does she look even remotely ‘fat’??????? Are you kidding me? (And we wonder why eating disorders are so such a problem in this country). She LOOKS like a size 2 which makes it even more obvious that Samantha needs to eat. She’s emaciated and probably lives on a diet of cigs and coke.

    Lindsay is NOT fat, but there is no way in hell she is a size 2.
    4-6 yes, but a 2? No way. (and that is fine- she doesn’t look good when she’s that skinny)

You were cute and pretty before you turned 21 and the industry turned a blind eye to the fact you have no chops, and tried to employ you anyway.     So how come Robert Downey Jr. can come back but not Lindsay? Don’t give me the “he’s so talented” bullshit. He had one great performance and a bunch of ‘going through the motions’ in crap movies. One theory about Lindsay I do buy, however is that she was never as big a star as the tabloids made her out to be.
