Joined by her hockey player beau Mike Comrie, singer/actress Hilary Duff dazzled on the red carpet (quite literally!) as she arrived to the Costume Institute Gala at New York’s Metropolitan Museum on Monday.
The War Inc. star showed off her curves in a sparkly strapless gown by celeb fave Ellie Saab. The fashionista, who otherwise kept her look monochromatic by pairing her shiny frock with matching earrings and clutch, opted to don a diamond and emerald cuff for some added pizazz.

She’s put on that weight FAST! She’s one of the few people who I think actually look better carrying a little extra weight. She looks the best she has looked in years! I love this dress but I wish her hair looked a little nicer.
I saw them today in the meatpacking district, she’s def gotten a lot thicker lately. But it’s better than her previously too thin look.

This gown is not one of Saab’s best. The Duffster looks like a linebacker in this number–her arms and shoulders are simply huge. And she has absolutely no waist definition. A definite fashion misstep all the way around.

Her bf is ugly, but Joel Madden is too, so looks aren’t Hil’s priority……..(which is nice)
