With fiance Josh Duhamel busy in L.A. filming a new movie, Fergie parlayed model-turned-actress Molly Sims into a makeshift red carpet partner as she hit up the Costume Institute Gala in New York City on Monday.
While the bride-to-be kept it streamlined and modern in an understated Calvin Klein number, her Las Vegas cohort was anything but in a bright yellow Versace gown.

I think Fergie looks awesome!! Love the long extensions and this is a very dramatic look for her. I don’t think Molly looks too great here though, I’ve seen her look a million times better and her whole look has been done a million times before. |

Molly Sim’s dress is horrid–what’s with all that draping/bunching around her ass? And the color is just a tad too in-your-face. I am not impressed by Fergie’s makeup–it looks really harsh and aging. And that one-armed gown is a huge snoozer. I don’t like the cut, color, or texture at all. It’s just incredibly boring and uninspired. |

Again, well said just askin’– those were my thoughts exactly :o). Just want to add that I think long extensions (used in this way– the long ponytail) are really tacky and hard to pull off imo. |

Ditto what you all said. I don’t think many people can carry off the nude lipstick thing in photos. |
