Sean “Diddy” Combs was presented with a star on the Hollywood Walk Of Fame today. The artist/producer/clothing designer/actor/perfumer was honoured with Hollywood Boulevard’s 2,362nd Star right in front of the popular Hollywood & Highland complex.
Diddy told reporters that he plans to move his family from New York to L.A. to pursue his acting career after his success of A Raisin in the Sun. But before that, it’s time to party!!
The man of the hour will celebate his star with a lavish party tonight at billionaire Ron Burkle’s estate in Beverly Hills.

Renfro was another real talent overlooked for work and suffered depression and drug abuse. Clark Gable was gay, Sinatra was a thug and at least half of hollywood is on drugs. Diddy is no better or no worse than anyone else who has a star. celebs all know how the game is played they throw fundraisers for the democratic party, they give mega bucks to liberal organizations that in turn channel the money into the democratic party and that my friends is how you get into hollywood’s good graces it certainly works for the A list .

He used to supply all his party with smorgasboard of drugs - heroin, cocaine, marijuana, crack, shrooms, etc. This fuctard made a lot of money running drug deals and errands when he was young. Yeah it’s old news that they buy their star on the walk of fame. There are certain guidelines though about how many years they have been in the business etc etc. I think Diddy definately deserves a star, I’m surprised he hasn’t had one already to be quite honest. He’s one of the biggest producers in the hip hop world and he has a huge enterprise that makes millions and millions a year. He’s certainly done very well for himself.

Stephi, while you are certainly right about his accomplishments, I thought the “stars” on Hollywood Blvd were reserved for actors. I don’t think Diddy’s success in other arenas really qualifies him for a star. 1 TV movie? Did I miss something? BUT, if stars are bought/awarded simply for success in the entertainment industry in general then I agree with you–he’s as deserving as anyone and maybe more than most because of the odds stacked against him because he began with nothing.
I think he’s trash with money. Can’t stand him he has no class whatsoever.. She’s a fool for standing by him considering how many times he has humiliated her. He doesn’t give a shit about her Munkie, it just makes him look good to have her and the kids there. He is far from a “family man”.
I wear Britney, beyonce, justin timb etc. have their stars. So I think Diddy deserves it coz if i consider entertainment in usa and world, Diddy is the most recognizable young. It depends to who will appreciate. Hip hop fans(or thug culture) will agree but other or white folks(drug consumers, rehab visitors) will disagree. Each has his taste. To be honest, if Britney has a star as singer but I dont see what Britney has accomplished more than Diddy. Diddy’ star is contreversial more because he is black: it is americans illness.
