Nicole Richie was back at traffic school today in Van Nuys, CA.

Leaving baby Harlow at home and clutching a cup from Starbucks, the reformed wild child-cum-new mom sat in for an hour-long lesson before rushing home to tend to baby.

Fellow new mothers should take note of Miss Richie’s post-pregnancy regimen because she is looking fit and sexy only 3 months after giving birth.

Meanwhile, Nicole’s babydaddy Joel Madden will soon be jetting off to West Palm Beach, FL for Thursday night’s Sunfest Music Festival. No word on whether it will be a family trip.

    Geez…they seem to hit a lot of parties for brand new parent!! I didn’t do anything for myself until like the 5th month!!! Must be nice.

    I agree with you Janet but they have so much help around that they can do these kinds of things. As much as it sucks for the rest of us!

    is this really news? And, who’s to say the baby isn’t with loving family or trusted friends who probably fall over eachother to watch the little angel.. happens in regular fams ALL the time.. but even if it’s a nanny or babysitter, you guys have to be intelligent enough to know we only hear about the 5% of information which we would find interesting ie: dirt to trash celebs on.. so don’t be such a sucker and stop judging people you don’t even know based on blog and tabloid information.. I know Joel and can tell you he is and will continue to be family oriented and a good father.

    Fellow new mothers should take note because she looks fit and sexy after 3 months? You are an ASS. The majority of us regular folks do not have the time or energy to focus on ourselves after having a baby. I could have bounced back faster if someone else was up 3 times a night with my kids and if I hadn’t been working 40 hour weeks, not to mention the time I spent nurturing and caring for them. I’m grateful for every second I was able to spend with them and willing to put myself on the back burner.

    I think she’s looking fantastic. I actually do beleive her when she says shes naturally a smaller person because when you look at photos of her when she was a little girl she was tiny. I think she just put on the weight when she was coming on and off heroin all the time. I think this is the best she’s ever looked. It’s good to see she’s still attending these classes as well and hasn’t tried to find some way out of them. At least she spends more time with Harlow than Nicole Kidman does with her kids.
