THINGS ARE GETTING NASTY!

Rosie O’Donnell is off until Tuesday.
Speculation now is whether she will return to ‘The View’ then to finish out her days until June 20, which is supposed to be her last day.
Meanwhile, Rosie’s chief writer was escorted from the building after drawing mustaches on photos of Elisabeth Hasselbeck that hang at the ABC studios.
‘Yesterday, Rosie’s chief writer, Janette Barber, was allegedly escorted from the building after she was caught drawing moustaches on photographs of Hasselbeck that hang in the “View” studios.The Post’s Adam Buckman reports ABC confirmed in a statement only that “photographs at ‘The View’s’ offices were defaced. Rosie O’Donnell was not in the building. ABC Legal and Human Resources are investigating the matter.” Barber is an old friend of O’Donnell who worked with her years ago on “The Rosie O’Donnell Show.”‘
As for Rosie, she’s taken her thoughts to her blog, fueling speculation she might not return.
When one fan wrote, “Work isn’t worth that battle,” Rosie replied, “Agreed.” Another wrote, “Please walk away. It’s not worth it.” Rosie replied, “Well, you know when it’s time to go.”
Our thoughts? Should Rosie return? Or has the fat lady sang?

wow, Janette Barber sounds real mature. It’s good that Rosie surrounds herself with such levelheaded adults. That says a lot.

Rosie called Elizabth a coward. If she doesn’t return, then she has proven that she is the one who is actually the coward.

It is time for Rosie to go - prolonging it until June is ridiculous. The woman is unhappy and it shows in her demeanor - she loves to provoke people with her nasty remarks and she can’t convey any message unless she is yelling. GO ROSIE GO

Rosie had already planned to take of Thursday because of her wife’s birthday. She’d been talking about it all week, her in-laws are here and she jokes about when they come she stays hung over.

Friday’s shows are always pre-taped. With the holiday, I’m sure they had planned it to be a 6 day break way before the Elizabeth confrontation happened.

I didn’t get to watch the show yesterday because of the President’s press conference, any fireworks?

Calling Rosie a coward for not coming back is what I find immature… sounds like the same mentality that supports a president who doesn’t know whent to leave either… like Iraq.. or the oval office..
Just a thought.
PS… You can’t hold Rosie responsible for Janette Barber’s actions… if you do that.. you should be holding your president responsible for .. well, everyone who’s fucked up the administration (oh, yeah, he’s on of them)

She should leave…Let ABC and the View people get a peak into their future ratings…BASEMENT numbers..Everyone might not like Rosie..but she does bring in the viewers.

only.1, when you are friends with someone who presents themselves poorly, that reflects badly upon you. If I were friends with Bush (ew — disgusting thought) then I would feel responsible for his actions and the poor way in which he presents himself. that is all I was saying about Barber’s actions reflecting poorly on Rosie. And I don’t think Rosie would be cowardly to not return, I think she’d be smart not to. Why bother at this point.

Honestly, I am surprised anyone even watches The View, it just seems so dumb! Every time I watch it they talk all over each other. Barbara needs to retire and take the show with her. Let Elizabeth go make babies, let Rosie go make Kelly and get Joy back out on the comedy circuit, she is WASTED on that show.

I didn’t say that I was on Elizabeth’s side…only1…I said calling someone a coward and then walking away makes her a coward too, if only because it gives the appearance of her running away from a no win battle.

Everything and everyone around Rosie are just childish and unprofessional. Sure majority may not agree with Elisabeth’s opinions but you have to admit that she’s been the grown up in this Rosie created feud. I don’t see Elisabeth personally insulting Rosie or getting her people to draw mustaches on Rosie’s….although Rosie with a mustache that could possibly be beleivable.

Hard to believe Rosie was actually likable just a few years ago. Of course, Tom Cruise seemed sane once too…
