Coldplay will make the first single from their new album available as a free download to fans who visit the British band’s website.
Violet Hill, the first single from Viva La Vida, will be available on coldplay.com from 7:15 a.m. ET Tuesday, one week before it goes on sale at digital retailers.
According to a just-released statement, it will be available as a free download from the website for one week.
During the British premiere of Iron Man last week, Chris’ wife Gwyneth Paltrow revealed that the band’s album is “brilliant”, adding, “Don’t tell him I told you. I can’t talk about it. He gets furious!”
