Celebrity music lovers were on hand at the increasingly star-studded Coachella Music Festival in Palms Springs over the weekend.
Uber couple Paris Hilton and Benji Madden were literally inseperable as they watched the one and only Prince headline the festival on a warm night in the desert.
Never the shy one, he introduced himself to tens of thousands of fans by announcing, “I am here.” He told the throngs, “You are at the coolest place on Earth tonight.”
Meanwhile, it looks like actor Rhys Ifans may want to keep a closer eye on his girlfriend Sienna Miller these days. We spotted the actress getting cozy with lothario/actor/musician Jared Leto backstage.
Taking a break from daily parental duties, cute couple Nicole Richie and Joel Madden were spotted strolling arm-in-arm through the Arts Festival. Joel was also showing his support for the presidental candidate Barack Obama.
Other A-list attendees included Kimberly Stewart, Melanie Griffith, Steven Tyler, Kelly Osbourne and David Hasselhoff.

I agree Jose. It was there on Friday and it was soooo hot, but once you start partying with your friends you kind of get over it. I wish I could have stayed yesterday as well to see Prince but I’ve seen him perform before so I guess I can deal haha. Jack Johnson was as awesome as always as was Cut Copy, John Butler (yay Aussies!) and The Verve. It was an awesome day!!
Didn’t see any celebs though like I did last year. Paris looks so out of place here I think, whereas Sienna looks like she could live at a festival.
