Mariah Carey was in New York City today to flip the switch at her lighting ceremony in the lobby of the Empire State to celebrate the singer’s successful career!
The mini statue of the iconic skyscraper lit up in lavender, pink and white, the colours featured on the cover for Mariah’s new album, E=MC².
We assume the owners of ther real Empire State Building charge too much (even for Mimi!) for the right to tint it pretty colours.

Yeah she really does act like a 12 year old. She comes across as very naive and immature with her love for butterflies and mermaids and stuff. It’s almost a little crazy. I think she looks cute here, but the belt ruins the whole outfit and makes her look like one of those tacky Las Vegas women who try and act younger than they actually are.
