Testerone depletion from getting older is my guess. Can’t build muscle anymore and doesn’t want to be pudgy (although fat might be a better look than skeletor). Maybe a new role as well?

i noticed he was very thin during and interview along side matt damon. he looks sick, not anorexic.

I love George but he does not look well here. He looks thin, grey & hollow eyed.

Janie.. I hate to say it, but that’s what I was thinking too.. not AIDS hopefully but something is seriously wrong.. I think it’s horrible even if it’s for a role.. loosing that kind of weight can never be healthy

These have to be bad lighting. But people have been commenting on how thin he looked. I don’t think he’s sick. He seems very full of life in all the interviews.
He doesnt look that thin on the pictures above or on other recent pictures I have seen of him.
He simply looks sleep deprived, he probably hasn’t been getting enough sleep.
i’m sure its for a role- i always thought he had a pretty solid build so it wouldn’t be so easy for him to lose a lot of weight.

He does look thinner that’s for sure, but he’s not exactly as young as he used to be either. I’d say he’s just getting a bit older and losing some muscle or as other poster’s said, maybe he’s just worn out.
that’s too dramatic a loss to attribute it to old age,folks…i think he’s sick for sure.

maybe he lost weight for a film role - don’t jump to conclusions yet gang
but he also looks very gaunt in the new nespresso coffee and martini commercials being aired in Europe. He certainly hasn’t been looking well in them for some time now.
