Alicia Keys at BET’s 106 & Park show in New York City today
First her opening act Jordin Sparks suffered serious vocal problems earlier in the week, and now Alicia Keys herself has been forced to cancel two shows because of swollen vocal chords.
The As I Am singer canceled shows in Pittsburgh and Cleveland Tuesday and Thursday, but expects to be back for her Saturday show in Columbus.
No word on how AK-47 damaged her vocal cords, but some speculate that it was a government conspiracy to oppress blacks.
