Reality stars Spencer Pratt and Heidi Montag are engaged!
Since I refuse to acknowledge the lives of second-rate reality stars (they are just way too bottom-of-the-barrel for me), I’ll let Us Weekly give you the dish.
Pratt, 23, popped the question to Montag, 20, Tuesday night at the Bacara Resort & Spa in Santa Barbara, says a source who adds: “She said ‘yes.’ She’s over the moon!”
Pratt purchased the diamond-encrusted platinum band with a pink stone on Monday at Ice at Brentwood Gardens before presenting Montag with his bended-knee proposal, according to a source. An eyewitness at the store tells Us, “She was trying on tons of them and they looked really happy!”
Congratulations to the happy couple. May they have a happy marriage and an even happier divorce.

Noooo!!! Through the whole season of the Hills (I watched a marathon a couple weeks ago) Spencer was a complete dickhead to Heidi and Lauren absolutely hated him. Looks like Lauren won’t be going to the wedding! Maybe he’s pulled himself together though, but they do seem fairly young and haven’t been together that long. Hopefully they will have a long engagement a la Shakira?
