Protected by three bodyguards, new parents Nicole Richie and Joel Madden were spotted with their 3-month-old baby Harlow catching a flight at LAX in Los Angeles yesterday.
After touring around the world with his band Good Charlotte for the past two weeks, Joel is back Stateside, much to the delight of spread-too-thin Nicole. Sources recently revealed to the press that “Nicole would be happier if he [Joel] just focused on his clothing line. His music takes him away from her and it’s difficult for her to be watching the baby alone while he’s out touring. Nicole doesn’t have a full-time nanny, so she’s watching the baby around the clock and it has taken a toll.â€
Nicole and Harlow are set to join Joel and Co. as they continue the American leg of their world tour before they fly off to Belgium next month for the Groezrock Festival.

I am pretty shocked to hear that she doesn’t have any help with Harlow. Its pretty comendibale for her to watch her baby all by herself!!!
Good for you Nicole!!! its not easy taking care of a new born by yourself so I really respect for not being a spoiled bitch and rolling up her sleeves!!!
Poor thing has to take care of her baby just like 95% of the rest of the world does. Rough life.
Do you really believe she doesn’t have help, they may not have the title of nanny per se, but she has house keepers baby sitters , family members and maybe even nurses …
Media portrays this anorexic junkie that parties all night and doesn’t miss an event as mother of the year, does anybody see the double standard when compared to celebs the media doesn’t like.

Awww, she doesn’t have “a full-time nanny”? You can bet that means she has four part-time nannies. Poor lil thing has to take care of her own child!
btw you KNOW this is not true because we’re always seeing pics of her out for work or driving class and she never has the damn baby.
why should she be commended for taking care of her own kid? Women do it all the time with way more kids and A LOT LESS MONEY!

it only says she doesn’t have a FULL-TIME nanny. so i’m guessing she has a part-time nanny plus plenty of other help: house cleaner, personal assistant, driver, maybe some family.
i like her though, at least she’s trying. i think.
i must admit she is looking really tired in that last picture. But i love Nic and Im happy Joel is back around!
Nicole is looking really tired here!! I’m sure that they have somebody to help with the baby when she goes to events and stuff like that, but I can’t really see Nicole as the type of person who wouldn’t want to be around her baby all the time. I think she seems like a really good mom, but I’m sure its been a big change in her life. It can’t have been easy for Joel to have left so quickly after Harlow was born, but it is his job. I think the three of them make a really nice family actually.

I have a baby the same age as harlow and unlike her I dont have any help I’m a full time mum and and a full time student who has to do my degree from home as I cant afford care, so excuse me if I dont believe that she knows what its like to look after a child 24 hours a day as we always she her out and I think this is the third time werve seen harlow since shes been born
