CAMERON LOSES HER FATHER

Cameron Diaz’s 58-year-old father reportedly died early this morning after a bout of pneumonia.
We hear his death was “shocking” as Emilio was in “terrific health.” Diaz is currently filming her upcoming flick “My Sister’s Keeper.” A source on the set tells us production on the film was shut down today.
Our condolences to Cameron and her family. 58 is just way too young.

How sad. I’m sorry Cammy. I lost my Dad suddenly at 57 and it was rough. Stay strong, you are in my thoughts today.

My husband is 52 and I consider that young. So sad when you lose a family member but extra sad when it’s so sudden and unexpected.

I remember reading in the past that she was really close to her father particularly. I can’t imagine how terrible this feels.

wow, this made me sad. i love Cameron. The thought of her being devasted over the loss of her father makes me upset. I hope she feels better and is surrounded by the people who love her. Death is excrutiating.

That’s really sad! I think sometimes people don’t think that things like pneumonia and the flu aren’t so bad, but if not treated properly they can be fatal. Devastating that he was so young and that it was unexpected. My thoughts are with Cameron and her family right now and I hope that they will be able to get through this. I agree with you Daria, normally Cam is such a happy person…its awful to think of her being sad.
