This should come as no surpirse.
In what is becoming a tradition with Hollywood starlets, just-engaged Ashlee Simpson has announced that she’s pregnant!!
“We are thrilled to confirm their engagement and congratulate this happy couple,” Wentz’s rep told Us. “Beyond that there is nothing to say.”
Congratulations to the happy couple. Now the question is, will the Wentz/Simpson spawn get Ashlee’s original beak or will it be blessed with Pete’s cute little button nose?

I think what’s wrong with it is not that you shouldn’t get pregs (or have sex) outside of marriage, it’s that obviously there is a trend of women who want to get married knocking themselves up “accidentally.”
I mean honestly — do you think Pete would have proposed anytime soon if this hadn’t happened? Do you think she doesn’t know how to eat pills? No, she wanted to lock him down, and instead of having a grown up conversation with her partner she just got clumsy with her b.c. And now he’s stuck with her! Haaaaa.

so for the record the “noassatall” birth control method might not be as effective… if anything, maybe try ONLY ass, aint no colons gettin knocked up, right?
also if this IS true, then “eek” is totally right about how funny it is that they made a parody video about young pregnant assholes in hollywoods — but im sure THEYLL be the first to do it up all classy and shit.
and the problem isnt getting knocked up, the problem is using marriage as the answer to pregnancy… theyre both rich, they can afford to raise the baby as individuals, the marriage part is whats messed up. a ring on her finer isnt going to suddenly make them better parents. and it really makes you wonder if it was a wonderful coincidence, or if papa joe came into the picture… either way…. fall out boy is rad.

Being pregnant at 23 when you’re in a committed long term relationship is bad? People are so judgmental. Not everyone goes to college, some people think it’s a waste of time and money. Not everyone skips down society’s yellow brick road. Some people, even responsible people do stuff their own way. They are successful in other aspects of their life and I’m happy for them!

I think these comments about them not wanting the baby and not using contraception are just ridiculous. They seem like a great couple and what’s to say that they pregnancy wasn’t planned? Even if it wasn’t I’m sure they don’t mind seeing as they are getting married and have decided to settle down together anyway. Congrats to them!

If she is pregs, it’s def not planned (at least not by Pete). They would stretch out the engagement, then the wedding, then the honeymood, then the preg rumors… Papa Joe would definitely milk it.
