There are kids going to bed hungry at night because their parents can not afford food. There are kids going to bed at night cold because their parents can’t afford to pay their electric bill. There are kids not receiving the medical care that they deserve because their parents can’t afford to take them to the doctor….and these people are making that kind of money.
What a sad state of affairs. They should feel horrible for making that kind of money, but I know that they don’t.
^^ Celebrities make money because people like us watch their TV shows and golf matches, buy books and magazines about them, download their music, buy tickets to their movies and concerts. If you want to blame someone for the wealth discrepancy in this country, start with the “little people” who support celebrities, then move on to the Bush tax cuts that favor the rich and leave the rest of us out in the cold. And BTW, if you made millions of dollars, would you share all of it with your fellow citizens as you expect these people to do? Also BTW, Leona left her fortune to her dog to spite her family. It’s not like the dog robbed a bank.

I can’t believe a fashion model made 33million. Absolutely rediculous. Teachers, firefighters, police & medical professionls make a tiny portion of this & they deal in life & death every day. Something is wrong here!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Some of them are surprising. I can’t believe Dr Phil is earning that much….he’s not even certified to practice in California and I wouldn’t take any of his advise in a million years. He uses people’s problems for entertainment and I find his analysis of people on TV sickening…no reputable Doctor should do that. He’s quite judgemental I feel as well and makes jokes of people’s situations.
I’m surprised at Mary Kate as well because she pretty much did nothing last year did she? I guess she’s still earning royalties from all the marykateandashley brand stuff.
