Actress Sandra Bullock shows off her pearly whites to big screen stud Ryan Reynolds while filming a scene from their upcoming romantic comedy, The Proposal, shooting in Boston, MA on Thursday.
The Anne Fletcher-directed flick is about a pushy boss (Sandra) who forces her young assistant (Ryan) to marry her in order to keep her Visa status in the U.S. and avoid deportation to Canada.

Free SHITTY healthcare. I’ve been waiting for a doctor for almost 2 years now. All I can get is an urgent care doctor who sees his patients first come first serve. I’d rather pay and get decent healthcare….
If it wasn’t for the free healthcare in Canada my family would be completely broke and living on the streets.

If you’ve been waiting 2 years that means its not critical. My dad has lost limbs and had fabulous health care, my uncle had a triple bypass and has NO complaints. Id rather wait a bit long and not have a 6000 bill. Rich or poor you get the same healthcare in Canada. And I fall on the poorer side, ha.

Simply put, I wouldn’t go to the doctor regularly if I had to pay hundreds/thousands of dollars.

…yeah we’re not talking critical care but decent care…If I have the flu and I’m coughing and I can’t work then I think it’s important for me to see a doctor …otherwise I’m just a burden on society by taking ’sick days.’ An urgent care doctor can’t give me quality care….they’re simply too busy, overworked and underpaid. I’m totally for social/ free health care but the gov’t needs to pump more money into the system for it to actually work. Health care job cuts, shitty pay and not recognizing foreign trained doctors isin’t helping.

^^^^^ Whenever I go to Canada, I could just as easily be in the U.S. Let’s see: same language, same music, same food, same cars, same etc. etc. What has Canada given us? Celine Dion and Pamela Anderson. Oh, and the greatest gift of all, Tim Horton’s. But TH’s is still regional, the entire USofA hasn’t discovered the beauty of TH’s. The truth is that millions of people choose not to have healthcare insurance because they want a bigger house or car, or think they will never get sick, alot of people are just plain ignorant or dumb. And someone please explain why so many canadians are starting to pay for private insurance on top of being taxed to death for healthcare. Many have to travel far or go on months long waiting lists.Half our problems would be fixed immediately if just got rid of the CRIMINAL ILLEGAL ALIENS ONLY….

Why is everyone so hard on Canada? I mean both countries have lots to offer and great people on both sides. Man, I find this thread so offensive. Full of generalizations! I am Canadian and I am proud of where I come from. I don’t dislike or hate any good people around the world, so I think some of you need to calm down with your quick remarks. There are a great deal of differences, despite the commonalities like cars and food!

Everything I wrote is far off the mark and not true…just pulling some legs….. I loooooove Canada and Canadians. I visit as often as I can (Ottawa, Montreal and Vancouver in the last two years alone). It’s a great country, a wonderful country. And Canadians are a terrific lot.
I prefer quality vs mass distribution any ways like in poor socialist countries because yes that’s where canada is headed. That explains why so many canadians are moving here, and also why people from all over the world are breaking into this country legally and illegally.
If you want to wait 2months or 2years for an MRI or CT scan then vote democratic. FREE HEALTHCARE, nothing is free careful what you wish for.
