My, my, my….how times have changed.
Newly discovered video of a fresh-faced 15-year-old Pete Doherty has put into sharp focus the contrast to the junkie rocker he has become.
The Babyshambles rocker is known more for his shambolic appearance nowadays, with his greasy unwashed hair, blotches, cuts and yellowed fingers.
But back in 1994 it was all very different. The young Pete was waiting to buy an Oasis album when he was approached by a crew from MTV.

This should be used as an anti-drugs commercial in the U.K - just shows what happens when you start on crack & heroin - it’s sad, he’s such an amazing performer …

I agree. He does seem to be pretty talented and he’s clear smart. Drugs only take away from what could be a great star! Just say no kids, just say no.

He was a little cutie and had a really good sense of humor!! Good old Oasis…..those were the days!! It’s really really sad to watch this video to know that he grew up to be such a wreck that he probably can’t even remember this moment in his life. He really could have had such a good life and married Kate and brought up her little girl together….very sad. I hope he pulls himself together but it seems too late for him. He’s had sooo many chances.

Arfff what are u on aboutt, hes done better things while on skag than the majority of people do in their entire lifes without it. What makes him a wreck? hes still writing and performing amazingly on drugs and hes affecting noone else but himself.

What have drugs taken away? drugs clearly havent taken what makes a great star because he is a star arff nonsence. Americans are so indoctrinated from school and shit its silly.
