Jessica Simpson has followed in Lindsay Lohan’s footsteps in recreating a star’s photo shoot.
While La Lohan posed nude for New York magazine to recreate Marilyn Monroe’s last shoot, Miss Simpson has posed as model and actress Vrina Lisi in the May issue of Esquire magazine.
In 1965, Vrina was photographed shaving her face for the cover of Esquire. The photo was believed to be meant to provoke the feminism movement. Jessica’s photo? Not so much….

I wish you had posted the 1965 Vrina photo to show how much of a farce this man-face bitch is. How dare they use HER to replicate what was a beautiful, classic photo (none of the things this dimwit inhibits).

I don’t know about famous photographs being recreated fullstop. They always look a little tacky to me and there are very few celebrities nowadays who could ever compare themselves to some of the Hollywood legends.
I think Jess looks pretty hot in this photo though, even if it is a little weird. Love her hair and makeup on the cover and the inside shots look good too, although slightly predictable. Believe it or not, but I think Jess kind of pulls this off.

She has a masculine face, why would anyone one to accentuate that? I think some people aren’t sensitive to masculine features. She hasn’t had any success in ages, why is she still getting so much coverage…it must be the blonde hair, big boobs, airhead thing.

So what if it is a recreation. I like this. I think it shows she is willing to do something other than cutesy cover shoots. Yet she still gets slated.
