Dionne Warwick has spoken out in support for her niece Whitney Houston as she faces new allegations from her ex-hubby Bobby Brown.
Speaking before her performamce at Muhammad Ali’s Celebrity Fight Night, Warwick said Whitney is “overcoming†her recent problems and working again.
She said, “Whitney Houston is back! I’m thrilled that she’s in the studio and working on her new album. No doubt she’s overcoming everything that has been put in front of her even this week.”
As you may recall, in newly released exceprts from his autobiography, Bobby blames Whitney for his drug abuse and subsequent failed career.

Britney could learn a lot from Whitney. She really did hit rock bottom and now she’s getting a second chance and has cleaned up her act. I think she’s looking better than ever!! Although, her boobs look ridiculous.

Stephi, I never thought of that before! Whitney’s experiences weren’t much different (no no-panties shots or head shaving….but we don’t know it all do we). I even recall their daughter Bobbi Cristina (?) being temporarily taken from them by grandma Cissy Houston.

Dionne Warwick was born with those cheekbones. I bought a vinyl lp at a thrift store from the early 60’s, and DW’s was gorgeous on the cover with those snake slit eyes and high cheekbones. Just go look up some old pic’s and see for yourselve.
All I really care about is—can she still sing???? I am keeping my fingers crossed that her new album will be a huge hit. It’s going to be a damn bad thing if her voice is gone……I can hardly bear to think about that possiblity.
