Are they or aren’t they?
That’s what everyone has been asking ever since Jay Z and Beyonce took out a marriage license in Scarsdale, NY. On April’s Fools, no less.
Here’s what we know.
First, the New York Daily News reports the Jiggaman is breaking out the bubbly at his place tonight for a big party. But that might be for that fat $150 million Live Nation deal. (Right!!) And Beyonce’s dad, Mathew Knowles, has been stringing along at least one celebrity weekly with the offer of wedding pics for sale. But he hasn’t revealed a date.
Meanwhile, People magazine says flowers and video equipment arrived at Jay’s Tribeca apartment this morning and workers erected the white tent atop the building.
And, of course, let’s not forget that video that Michelle Williams and Kelly Rowland posted from an “undisclosed location.”
As for their reps both stars say “no comment” - although, interestingly, B’s peeps initially claimed the reports were “false” before revising their position.
Our thoughts?
UPDATE: Check out the tacky candelabras and Beyoncesque flowers that just made their way up to the rumoured wedding spot.
Meanwhile, sources say only a couple dozen tables have been set up. In other words, it’s going to be a rather intimate affair by Hollywood standards.

Have a friend who works on vidoeo shoots - said Beyonce was the sweetest, most gracious person she ever worked with. I am not buying into the rumors - I have yet to see any footage where she is anything but sincere and kind. I don’t care if she is not a mensa member, she can sing and I wish her the best. Those candelabras, in the right setting, would be spectacular - back off.
