WORLD PREMIERE: MADONNA’S ‘4 MINUTES’

Madonna’s brand spankin’ new video for 4 Minutes to Save the World, featuring Justin Timberlake, is FINALLY upon us. Check this mofo out!!!

The Jonas & François-directed video was filmed in London earlier this year. Madge and JT play superheroes tackling physical obstacles, with choreography by Jamie King.

While the song is sorta all over the place (tick, tock, tick, tock, tick, tock), the catchy chrous and slickly produced video will ensure Madonna yet another hit.

AWFUL and embarrassing!!! She’s so gross and I’ve decided that people with no taste are the only ones who love her. And can Justin Timberlake go away for a while..

I think its a great song and video. I like all types of music, and i admit she is conforming to the music industry standards, but thats what shes always done, and she is proving she is still just as relevant as she was nearly 30 years ago, so ya’ll need to shut up, cuz he song just came in at number 3 on the billboard charts after one week of being available digitally, so obviously people still care.

Patrick, the charts have no reflection on actual talent or originality. It’s based on what the mindless masses will buy because they don’t realize that there’s just nothing original at all about Madonna, Mariah Carey, etc…it’s just familiar and commercial so people buy it. In fact, there are tons of lemmings out there that let the charts *dictate* what they buy because they erroneously think “It’s on the charts, therefore it’s good.” It’s sad, really, and only perpetuates the marketing of boring crap like what Madonna does. If sales figures make a person “relevant” then okay, she’s relevant. In my book, talent and insight and originality make an artist relevant. I don’t consider Madonna an artist, just a clever businesswoman and marketer. I mean shit, she sold more than half the songs on this new album to companies before the album’s even released. Tells you exactly what she’s truly intere$ted in, and it ain’t art.

Utter and complete CRAP! What a piece of doo-doo! Madonna is desperately looking for a way to show off her figure and nothing else. She’s not sexy and no longer musically relevant. She’s clueless basically.

To say that the charts are overrun with crap is too harsh; yes the majority is crap but Amy Winehouse’s Rehab and Gnarls Barkley’s Crazy (a while ago) were huge hits and quality music in my opinion.
The only thing I like about this song is indeed the trumpet and bass loop; the lyrics and the melody suck ass. The choreography is uninspired and there’s no on-screen chemistry between her an Justin.

I really do want to love this song, but I don’t. It’s a piece of shit. And Timbaland’s songs ALL sound the same, whether it’s his, Timberflake’s, Nelly Furtado’s or Duran Duran’s. All the same beat and sound. How original.

Aren’t we the intellectual. Maybe you didn’t get the news but people, or “the mindless masses ” as you call them, like music they can dance and sing along with. The “mindless masses” go to school, university or work their asses off. People just want music that is fun and not to complicated to lisen and dance to. They want a good beat and catchy lyrics What on earth is wrong with that??? How arrogant and stupid to simply brush that aside and basically say people have no clue or idea what good music is because YOU have a different taste.
    .
Madonna is very commercial, true. But she started in a time when record companies started to realize the effect of marketing. They were also forced to do so because of MTV. She’s simply a product of that. Along the way she herself realized what she could accomplish by stirring up things and having people talk about her (good or bad). She understands the game like very few do.
    .
Now continue belittling the mindless masses. I’m proud to be one of them.
