Malawi’s government has reportedly recommended that its High Court approve Madonna’s adoption of 2-year-old David Banda, the child she met in a Malawian orphanage a year and a half ago.
But the diva’s lawyers have asked the courts to delay her appearance in court for the adoption hearing from next week to the end of April, because she has another engagement (i.e. the promotion of her new album) in the United States.
Evidently, babies can wait but the show must go on!!

MissJanet, Most people knew about the plight of Malawi long before this old hag brought it into light. In fact Malawi is not the only place that needs attention. Others would include: Rawanda, Darfur, the Middle East, etc. So my advice would be to try and broaden your horizons, read a little bit more before you make such insensitive and obviously uneducated statements. It shows that you are not very bright.

She’s a workaholic. I think when she’s working on an album or promoting it that she doesn’t give two shits about anything else, her marriage or her children. I get that she likes perfection with her work and that’s fine but you can’t turn your back on your other responsibilities. If I was in her position I would be so eager to adopt that child legally and put that mess behind me. There’s no way I’d be asking the courts to put it off!
