TROUBLE IN THE FAMILY

bindi-park-croc.jpg

Steve Irwin’s dad, Bob, has quit the family conservation park in Australia that he helped build, saying he felt he had become a “disrupting influence — not that I meant to be.”

It seems he’s clashing with Irwin’s widow, Terri, who runs the park and is facing legal problems for the $2.3 million she owes to creditors. But Terri, last month, told reporters: “I just can assure everyone that I love Bob dearly. He’s gone through so much grief losing his wife and his only son that I will respectfully just leave it at that.”

If you think this is family strife, just wait until little Bindi grows up and realizes that her mother pimped her out just to keep the Croodile Hunter’s fame alive.

Wrong - - She didnt pimp her daughter out.
If you recailm, Bindi LOVES what her father did, and she wants to grow up in her fathers shoes.
And she will do it, with or without her mothers help.
I think, that there is alot of pressure going on behind close doors that we will never honestly know about.
That is alot of money for taxes - and I would be stressing out also.

TERRI DID NOT PIMP OUT BINDI, ARASTO!!!!

Thank you TEXASucks!… actually, Steve Irwin was working on the Jungle Girl episodes with her long before he died! This whole family has made conservation their lifes work. If there was never any TV shows, Bindi would more than likely still be helping with the family business within the Zoo.
    .
Financial troubles suck especially when there is a deceased family member who essentially ran everything.. no one wants to be insenstive to point the finger of blame but everyone is feeling the strain.. sad.

Bindi actually started doing “shows” at the conservation park of her own accord. Neither of her parents pimped her out.

Did the shows include her embarrasing ‘rap’? Come on! I saw her on one of those morning shows doing her rap song with ultra-cheesy backup dancers…what does that have to do with conservation? And p.s. while she is cute as a button, it reeks of a pimp out…

Lola — have you watched Barney or LambChop? Kids shows have stupid “embarrassing” songs and raps.. It’s a kids show!
    .
Bindi WANTS to follow in her father’s footsteps.. that’s not pimping, that’s being a little girl.. she’s smart and has been around this stuff her whole life. She looks up to her father and wants to be just like him.. sounds like any normal kid to me… now, If any of YOU were in the position to make that happen for your child and saw the enthusiasm the child has to do that work, you would do it in a heartbeat! Sounds like the green-eyed monster to me.

Ok I think there are a lot of problems with this story and a lot of things that shouldn’t have been said. Apparently there has been a few problems regarding the Zoo owing some other companies, but that’s fairly normal with big businesses like Australia Zoo. Bob has been unhappy for a while apparently, mainly because he feels the Zoo is becoming too commercial- which both his late son and Terri and Bindi have contributed to. Not always a bad thing, considering the publicity and the money that has been made because of it, but in a true, traditional conservationalist’s eyes it may not be the direction he was hoping the Zoo would go in. And finally…Bindi is obviously a very extroverted, precocious young lady who loves being in the limelight. There is nothing wrong with her innocent little show and she has said herself that she wants to follow in her father’s footsteps and educate other kids about the environment. Well, in her own way I think she’s doing just that and Terri is there to support her.
