The ring may be on her finger, but Jamie Lynn Spears’ mother Lynne says her pregnant daughter won’t be exchanging I Dos with babydaddy Casey Aldridge any time soon unless they sign a prenuptial agreement.
“The contract is already drawn up and ready to go,†an insider confirms to In Touch. “Lynne’s not sure marriage is a good idea, but she’ll go along with that if that’s what Jamie Lynn wants — as long as Casey signs the contract.†A Spears family confidant says that Lynne, who flew home to Kentwood, La., to celebrate Jamie Lynn’s April 4 birthday, is worried about Casey. “He doesn’t seem as committed to the relationship as Jamie Lynn,†says the confidant, adding that the family is aware of the rumors that he’s cheated. “Lynne is keeping an eye on him.â€
Hmm….some good parental decisions on Lynne’s part. It’s about damn time!

WHy is her mother condoning a union that is doomed to fail??? For pete’s sake, let her have the baby, and let them raise it, UNMARRIED. The fact she is only 16 is the reality here. There is no way in hell they can handle the pressures of marriage AND having a child, and raising it together. Her mother is nuts. Plain fucking nuts.
In a sane world, Social Services would have taken Lynne’s daughters away from her years ago. Jamie Lynn’s sprog is already doomed. Maybe it can get a group rate on therapy with Britney’s boys.

Well how many sixteen year old are that committed to a relationship really? I think Jamie Lynn is quite mature for her age actually and she’s probably got that from having a career so young, having and older brother and sister and basically living in a more adult world. Casey on the other hand is a 17(?) year old guy who most likely cares about partying, girls and maybe college. It’s not going to be easy on him I don’t think either.
I’m not sure if marriage is the best idea and I hope JL hasn’t felt pressured into it at all. I do think her mother wanting them to sign a prenup though is sensible.
Believe or not, Britney will still rock the year 2008. Her profile was found on the dating site mixedfriends.com last week. It seems Britney is seeking true love now.
