CHRIS AND JORDIN WILL HIT ‘IDOL’ STAGE

Audience members thought it was an April Fool’s joke at last night’s American Idol show when they were asked to remain after the singers finished their Dolly Parton tunes. But a joke it was not — reigning Idol Jordin Sparks and Chris Brown promptly took the stage to tape their performance of their hit duet, No Air, for next weeks results show.
After the performance, the 18-year-old A.I. darling, looking stylish in a simple black dress, received recognition for her record sales, including a framed platinum record to signify more than 1 million downloads of No Air.
