Patrick Dempsey is partnering up with Avon Products to create a signature men’s fragrance set to debut in November in the U.S., with a global launch in 2009.
Much like every other celebrity fragrance, the New York-based beauty product company says the Grey’s Anatomy actor will be actively involved with every aspect of the project.
The deal is rumoured to be worth at least $5 million for three years.

I think he’s a good choice for this campaign actually. Most of the women that swoon over him seem to be in their 30s-50s and that’s Avon’s target market really. I don’t find him bad looking, but he just reminds me a little too much of my dad haha. |

He’s a good actor, a decent guy who cares about his wife and kids, raises money for cancer research to honor his mom, doesn’t screw around on his wife, isn’t in love with himself, and has more than paid his dues. What is it about Dempsey that consistently brings out the hate on this blog? “Douche bag” isn’t very informative; it’s a schoolyard taunt I haven’t heard since fourth grade. And FYI, Grey’s Anatomy traditionally has its strongest showing in the 18-to-49 age group (both male and female viewers). |
