SNL TO ASHLEE: THANKS BUT NO THANKS

Saturday Night Live producers, still recovering from Ashlee Simpson’s lip synching on the show in October 2004, have declined to slot her on the show for promoting her new album Bittersweet World.
An insider tells the New York Post that Ashlee’s father and manager, Joe Simpson, was keen that she appear on SNL but the producers said no because she was “a pain” during her time at SNL in 2004.
Ashlee’s flak says, “We’re not doing SNL because they’re dark the week we are here in April and there were no other opportunities later in the year.”

^^^^Cute nose that isn’t even hers LOL> I just never liked her for some reason. I think its cause she seems to never able to admit her flaws…. Like what happened at SNL, her plastic surgery, or that she was not the lead in a movie cause she didn’t want to be the lead yet. She’s not humble

Everybody made such a big deal about the SNL thing like she is the only one that lip syn-they all do it, ALL OF THEM.

No actually, not everyone lip synchs on SNL. Get a ticket sometime and you’ll see for yourself. And it wasn’t just the faking it that made Ashlee a joke, let’s not forget the ho-down dance then ditching her band on stage and running off like a 9-year-old who forgot her lines in the school play.
