Ever since news surfaced that the loved up couple had recently purchased a multi-million dollar country lovenest, Jake Gyllenhaal and Reese Witherspoon were no where to be seen.
Were they embarrassed for paying such an absorbitant amount of money for what is essentially a shack? Did they feel like their privacy was invaded as pictures of their home-away-from-home were splashed all over the net?
Nah — Reese and Jake packed up the kids last week for a sun-filled vacay in glorious Cabo San Lucas. Photogs caught up with the tanned foursome (that’s Jake’s back in the thumbnail) as they arrived back in L.A. early this morning.

I think you’ll find the property they purchased is by Wallace Neff - One of the most important architects back in the 20’s / 30’s … Most of the huge spanish estates in LA are by him, Madonnas owned quite a few.
