Press-shy actress Jennifer Aniston crawled out from whatever rock she’s been living under for a night of sushi and small talk with good pal David Arquette at Nobu in Malibu.
So, what was the topic of discussion as Jen and Dave snacked on sashimi and sipped on sake? Aniston’s upcoming trip to Chicago — there very place she fell in love with her on-again off-again lover Vince Vaughn.
According to the upcoming issue of Life & Style Weekly, the former couple have plans to reconnect while Jen is in Chi-town to record a show with her friend Oprah.
A source revealed that both have been in touch even after their real life break-up.
“They talk for hours every week. Vince still knows how to make Jen laugh and she loves all the little hints he keeps dropping about how they should be together,” the insider was quoted as saying.
The source also claimed that the delay in their official reunion is because Jennifer is eager to start a family, but Vince is yet to get over his apprehension about having kids.
“Jen knows Vince could be a great father if he would get over his insecurities about having kids. She’s still hoping they can see eye to eye on the issue.”

Vince Vaughn ought to snatch her up and thank God everyday that he could get such a pretty girl. Honestly, he’s getting uglier by the day. He’s got this Peter Pan complex going and is going to find himself alone, lonely, fat, bald & 60.

I hope she finds happiness as well. She seems like a nice enough person and its really hard to bounce back after a relationship like the one she had with Brad. It must be really hard for her also to see pictures of Brad and Ange constantly. She’s a trouper!

She has one of the best bodies in the older than 35 age group in Hollywood. It is a shame that she gets pegged as her FRIENDS character. Oh well, she should count her blessings and carve a career out in directing or producing. It looks like her time is up in the acting department. She can do a lot better than Vince though. SHe needs to find a guy that is really not that good-looking but charming in a quirky way. It must suck to be reminded every single day that you husband left you for Angelina.

Her body is incredible and I know a lot of people rag on her about her clothes but I like her style. She always looks nice and fresh but not like she is trying too hard. I like her but agree her career is pretty much over unless she gets a part that is just completely oppostite of who she is and is great in it.

As Doc Love says, you can never go back, once you are out, never try to date someone who doesn’t want to date you. Women are like elephants, they remember everything. There is too much resentment and he has a dirty slate. Her interest level in him dropped below 50% and can never go past 50% again. If they do get back together it will just be for her ego since she will be hovering in the 40 - 49% interest level range and eventually leave again. He should study Doc Love so he will know if he made mistakes to lower Jen’s interest level or Jen was not good for a long term relationship (did she have integrity, flexiblity, and was she giving, did she have serious emotional baggage or low self-esteem). Vince should forget about Jen and find a good long term girl and keep her interest level high by treating her right.

ergh step away from the self-help books Fan. Look i have never seen her appeal- talent-wise, personality-wise or looks-wise. But i feel sorry for her that she cops a lot of bullshit even when she stays under the radar- I really don’t believe this story that her and vince will get back together or that she even cares that much.
But what are the chances of her meeting a man and having a serious relationship (if thats what will make her happy) if she frikin spends every waking moment with courtney and david? She just seems clingy.

Her career remind me of Jennifer Garner, in one moment she was tipped of as the new it girl and started to get offers right and left, then her movies bombed and producers moved on from her.
Aniston is the same thing, in 2004 and 2005 she was the it girl working non stop, Friends finale was getting tons of promotion, she still was married with a super star, had 4 or 5 movies to promote, then her movies bombed and she stopped to get offers.
Her movies listed in IMDB are stuck in production forever, and I don’t think they will see the green light; the only way I see for her to comeback is doing TV again. But then it could be a crappy show like Joey or Dirt.

I have always loved Jen. She was a great TV star who by being married to Brad got pressured into the big screen scene. It’s not for her. She has plenty of money & good friends. She is free to find a good relationship but I don’t think it will be with Vince.

Yeah, but even if she didnt want to keep a low profile she doesnt have anything to promote, she isnt working and she doesnt have any film lined up for this year. Unlesss she talks about her divorce again she WONT get any attention even if she wanted.
