Karl Lagerfeld prepared himself to take another flight of fancy — this time California style.
The designer presented Chanel’s latest cruise collection last night, the second time in a row he has shown the line in the U.S. after last year’s show on the East Balcony of New York’s Grand Central Terminal.
This time around, Chanel took over hangar number eight at Santa Monica Airport. Two airplanes were slated to pull into the hangar, from which the models disembarked in the collection.
The 500 guests included Demi Moore, Diane Kruger, Camilla Belle, Milla Jovovich, Lily Allen, Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen, Jessica Alba and Rachel Bilson.

I personally don’t think Lindsay looks good here. No 20 year old should wear that much makeup, it just looks gross. I prefer the fresh faced girls myself. I mean Ali Larter is 30 and does not have that much makeup on and she has 10 years on her. I think all of these girls don’t look that good actually except for Ali Larter and Eva Mendes. I have never seen somone dress as bad as the Olsen twins.

I love Karl!! I don’t think he ever runied Chanel at all! He simply brought it into modern times and actually made it more popular than ever. Some of his designs are absolutely stunning! I love that he does something different with his shows each season as well, I had the privelege of going to last years show in New York and it was amazing!! Would have loved to go to this one!
Victoria looks amazing!! I love the jacket! It’s funny to me that she wears the plainest outfit of the bunch yet blows everyone out of the water. I’m not crazy about Jessica Alba here either, I think she’s actually losing her looks.
