It was an ANTM reunion today as Tyra Banks held her 1st Annual Fiercee Awards honouring the inspirational women of America’s Next Top Model.
Let’s take a trip down memory lane, shall we?
Actress, model, television personality and third season alum Toccara Jones.
Since ANTM, Miss Toccara has signed with Wilhelmina Models as a plus-size model. She also hosts BET’s game show series Take the Cake.
Fellow cycle three contestant and ANTM runner-up Norelle Van Herk.
Eva Pigford (a no-show at the event) ended up stealing the coveted crown.
Season four reject Keenyah Hill.
The 22-year-old former student from Compton, CA is best known for gaining 10 pounds during her ANTM stint—and catching hell for it from Tyra.
Cycle 8 winner of America’s Next Top Model, Jaslene Gonzalez.
The Puerto Rican beauty made history when she became the first full Latina winner, and the third with Latina heritage. (The first being Cycle 2’s Yoanna House and the second one being Cycle 4’s Naima Mora.)
Though a loser on the show, Jade is and will always be a winner in our books.
The Cycle 6 word-creating beauty scienificized what modelization should be as she made a decention on to the red carpet in a hot pink ruffled number.
Cycle 7 winner of America’s Next Top Model, CariDee English.
Since her big win, the 22-year-old North Dakotaian has become a spokesperson for the National Psoriasis Foundation to spread awareness about psoriasis and encourage others to seek treatment.

Yikes to all three, minus Toccara… I find her to be pretty, although it looks like she smuggled some beach balls into her dress ;oP. And eww, Jaslene is NO “beauty”! She’s all freakily sharp angles and tranny face.
First Off-
All REAL MODELS are “found” when they are like what, 14 if not younger?
Take Brooke Sheilds for instance.
There is no way you can be an 18-25 year old woman trying to be the NEXT supermodel.
It just makes no sence to me what-so-ever.
Toccara is the ONLY good looking one there (and that includes Tyra who is looking like an aging drag queen these days).
All the models I know of are in their early twenties.
Look at Agyness Deyn, she’s in her early/mid twenties and she’s the biggest supermodel out there now…and she started modelling when she was 18.
But I know what you mean, none of those girls could ever be actual models…..go to style.com and you’ll see some real models
I just realized I made several mistakes in my post :o(. I meant “yikes to all of them” and “freakishly”. Haha ;o). I agree about Tyra… she’s also pulling a weird expression in that top pic. I used to like her, but she’s turned out to be hugely self-absorbed and annoyingly grating as hell.

I am sure I am going to get virtual tomatoes thrown at me for this but I love Tyra. Before I watched her show, she annoyed me but now, even though from time to time there are blatantly idiotic things on her show(s), for the most part she seems to honestly try to do good for people. I do not see deliberate cruelty or humiliation like occurs on so many “reality” shows.
As for the models- I concur. Other than Joanie and Yoanna and Shandi, many of them are not very modelly to me. Though I do have to say, Lauren in this cycle, is a breath of fresh air and is an Amazon goddess.

I really don’t think any of these girls look like they should be considered top models. Some of them are just plain forgettable and others look like they just stepped out of the mall. I think Tocarra is gorgeous, but she really needs a breast reduction! That can’t be comfortable for her! I think Jade is delusional and I’m not a fan of her tryhard hair cut but I think her dress is BEAUTIFUL!
