As rumours continue to mount suggesting that her marriage to Coldplay frontman Chris Martin is on the rocks, a solemn Gwyneth Paltrow is spotted leaning on some close friends in London today.
After sipping down on her grande soy latte, the rumoured soon-to-be single actress left clutching a copy of the children’s book Thank You Bear.
Meanwhile, the 36-year-old star says she is taking a break from making movies until late next year so that she can concentrate on what’s really important to her.
She tells the Daily Mirror: “I’m not doing another movie until next autumn. Everything is about family, I’m putting movies on the backburner. I’ve been at home being a housewife and I’ve loved every second of it.”
So, has Hollywood finally found a mom who knows what’s important. Don’t bet on it. Gwyneth’s Dirty Tricks is scheduled to come out next year and costars her former boyfriend, Brad Pitt. After that it’s Iron Man with Robert Downey Jr. and Terrence Howard.

I can’t stand her, and wouldn’t be all that sad if they split up. Except for the kids’ sake. She really deserves bad karma considering the nasty ivory-tower remarks she’s made about her past boyfriends’ personal lives to the media… not to mention the criticism of the US, that she later tried to retract, but couldn’t because it was all quoted. She’s so stuck up.

WTF is that supposed to mean? The ONLY thing women — even successful, Oscar-winning women — can do that is “important” is stay home and pick up dirty socks? Give me a break. No one’s ever horrified when a male actor with kids does a few films back to back. Get with the century already.
