DOES RYAN’S NEW TATT SYMBOLIZE HARD TIMES?

ryan-phillippe-new-tattoo.jpg

Ryan Phillippe was spotted leaving Gym on Nemo in West Hollywood today, and the actor showed off some new ink.

At first glance it looked like a piece of a bald eagle, perhaps a nod to his soldier character in his upcoming war drama Stop Loss, however, at closer inspection the tatt is obviously that of a phoenix rising from the ashes.

The 33-year-old actor had been quoted saying he was physically distraught after his divorce from ex-wife Reese Witherspoon. Could the new ink symbolize him finding strength after reaching rock bottom?

Instead of the pathetic tattoo, maybe he should have thought twice before he cheated on this mother of his two children.

    Just a thought.

A tattoo is just a small skin billboard advertising how
    incredibly dim you are.

It’s actually ‘Gym On Nemo’ … not gym nemo.

I don’t know if he can pull off that tatts too well. Maybe like the armband or something on his back but full arms…..not too sure.

Ugh. I am so over tattoos. Fucking celebrities and their dumb tats ruined them for me. I used to appreciate the artistically original or clever ones that some people have, but now I can’t stand to see them on anyone.

Doesn’t this create issues for an actor? Don’t makeup artists get tired of trying to hide these things from the camera? It speaks of a less-than-full committment to one’s profession, doesn’t it?
