Hot off the press: Check out some just released promo shots of Scarlett Johansson from her upcoming studio album, Anywhere I Lay My Head.
Snapped by photographer Brea Souders, the actress-turned-singer is seen gazing off into the distance listlessly amid her beautifully rustic surroundings.
ScarJo’s debut album has been set for a May 20 release. The album — which was recorded over five weeks last spring at Dockside Studios in Maurice, LA — has 11 tracks, 10 of which are cover versions of songs originally recorded by Tom Waits.

Scarlette is effortless when it comes to beauty so why do these pictures make her look so bad? This photographer did not do Scarlette any justice….
I never thought I’d say ‘BUTTAFACE’ about ScarJo. She’s hotter than this! C’MON! Even if she was trying to go for a more ‘naturalistic’ style, she can still do fuck loads better. She probably did the art direction and evidently the ’styling’.
I gotta say…I think she looks pretty bad in these pics. She doesn’t look beautiful or hot I don’t think, just that she’s trying too hard to look like a serious musician. I feel like she’s got a lot of work to do on her acting skills before she ventures into music. I don’t see her as being too much of a hit to be quite honest.
She is an absolutely terrible actress and a halfwit. Let’s hope she’s better at singing than she is on film.
