Long-time BFFs Madonna and Gwyneth Paltrow dine at Locanda Locatelli in London on Monday night.
As rumours continue to mount suggesting that the Material One and her hubby are headed towards splitsville, Madge’s ever-trusty publicist has gone on the defensive by issuing a public statement to let us know “that Mr. and Mrs. Guy Ritchie remain happily married.”
We soooo want to believe it, but ever since Guy failed to show up at Madonna’s Malawi benefit last month and then again at her induction into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame last week, we’ve been doubtful. This latest sans hubby outing with her closest confidant only points us to one likely outcome — it’s over!

Gwyneth wanted to use Chris Martin as a baby-making machine. That’s why she was pregnant before they got married. She wasn’t interested in marrying him. She wanted babies. He was just the guy who was there. If she were proud that he was her husband, he’d be out with her all the time. But he isn’t. She wanted the babies. Gwyneth always looked older. I think she should go back to minding her kids and not go out with Madonna.
