Political activism gets you all kinds of accolades.
Before the pile-on starts, I’d like to say that the award is well deserved. She’s a talented actress and a thoroughly decent human being.
Please hollywood is no longer about talent, it’s all about politics, they now make movies for the TIN FOIL HAT CROWD.
^^ She, I’d love to hear you make your case for any of the 12 top grossing films of 2007. What a subversive bunch!
1 Spider-Man 3
2 Shrek the Third
3 Transformers
4 Pirates of the Caribbean: At World’s End
5 Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix
6 I Am Legend
7 The Bourne Ultimatum
8 National Treasure: Book of Secrets
9 Alvin and the Chipmunks
10 300
11 Ratatouille
12 The Simpsons Movie
you proved my point those movies would never be awarded anything and #7 was anti american.
That dress is too short..
Number one…most of the moviegoers these days are under the age of 20. Hollywood is merely catering to the masses…Number two, did you ever watch some of the movies from the 30’s, 40’s and 50’s? Not all of them were friggin’ diamonds…Number three if I remember correctly movies are made so we can escape the shit in our life, forget our problems for a couple hours, laugh cry, scream whatever…
Yes, three of the best movies I saw this year was There Will Be Blood, Michael Clayton and No Country
I saw them each three time in the theaters…but my favorite was Ratatouille…brilliant, beautiful, funny it was a feast…
I for one am eagerly waiting for Sex and the City and Indiana Jones…
MOVIES DON’T ALWAYS HAVE TO HAVE A MESSAGE…LIGHTEN THE F*#K UP!!!
She is beautiful in the top picture.
Aside from the mindless entertainment that makes it possible to afford the propaganda films that influence the younger crowd and elitist liberals salivate over and the critics which work for left wing newspapers only love to give kudos too.
People are boycotting the industry and the media because the propaganda and deceit, it’s reflected at the box office and newspaper sales. TV viewers are also rejecting shows like Ugly Betty, 30 Rock………
NBC has turned so fare left and lost so much money that General Electric parent company is thinking of selling it off, because people are starting to boycott GE products.
