So what? They couldn’t split the billion dollars the movie would have made? Now they want two billion? Talk about spreading it thin!

Yeah cos I think J.K. Rowling is getting a bit low on the cash….NOT! It’s obviously just a way to string out the whole Harry Potter thing for as long as possible but I guess fans will like that better as well and they get another movie to line up for days to watch…so everyone’s happy.

I think it’s good, the last book is long and complicated. And then, all the more movies and movie time makes me happy.

No I think it completely makes sense. The final book is long and putting all in one, 2-3 hour film would not do it justice. It would sacrifice way too many key elements.

    Best. Decision. Ever.
It’s NOT a way to string the whole thing out, it’s a way to tell the story, and anyone who’s read the last one knows that it’s really in two parts. There’s *so much* to tell in the film that if they made it one movie, it would just be lost.
I’m so glad they made this decision.
