Plastic fantastic Ashlee Simpson has taken a break from pimping her new album at every Walmart store across the Midwest to advocate plastic surgery in the upcoming issue of Us Weekly.
The lip songstress reveals to the tabloid that she suffered from an acute case of ugly duck syndrome growing up: “I used to look at a beautiful girl on the cover of a magazine and think I could never be that.”
But nowadays, a nipped and tucked Ashlee is truly proud of being a wonder of modern medicine: “I definitely embrace my sexy side, but at the end of the day, I still feel like the girl next door. I like to get dressed up now, and that’s something I’ve never been into before.”
As for her slimmed down schnog? “[Plastic surgery] is something that everybody should think about for a really long time. Once you know it’s something you really feel comfortable with, then to each their own.”
But don’t get it twisted — Ashlee was just fine with the beak she was born with, thank you very much: “I was never really unhappy with how I looked, [and] I don’t think I am more beautiful than I was [before]. I just see the same old goofy girl I see every day.”

i completely get it. i personally am not a fan of my nose but i rock it and i’m okay with it, however if i was rich and in that business i would consider a nose job

I agree with her. I don’t think she’s gone overboard with the surgery and I can understand how she may have felt self conscious with her nose. She has said before that she used to compare herself with her older sister and feel kind of unpretty so I don’t see a problem with her doing this as it’s obviously boosted her confidence.
Whatever. This bitch is talking out of her neck. And I hope she and all the others realize that their children will be born with their pre-surgery mugs.

i don’t mind plastic surgery as long as it’s not being endorsed to impressionable young girls. whatever floats your boat really.. but as ashlee said, make sure you spend a long time thinking about it and the consequences
