When Nicole Richie went shopping on Melrose yesterday to buy goodies for babydaddy Joel Madden’s 29th birthday, she left a little something unexpected behind.
The new mom was forced to make an abrupt departure from a high end boutique after her pet pooch cocked its leg up and let ‘er rip all over an expensive purple dress.
Luckily for Nicole, she was able to make a swift exit and the sales reps were none the wiser.
Disaster (and subsequent dry-cleaning bill) averted!

If this was her dog, she is responsible for paying the damages, whether it be a cleaning or buying the items.

Who brings their dog into a boutique, anyway? Regardless of whose dog it is, this is gross and disgusting. I suppose now I have to check clothes for urine before I try them on. Sick!

Yeah now that other people have mentioned it…that isn’t her dog is it? Embarassing situation though, one that I too have been in unfortunately. I took one of my pooches with me to Fashion Island once when she was little puppy and she left a little surprise on the floor of one of the stores hahah I was mortified but the shopkeepers just laughed it off.
