Donning a long skirt, black tanktop and showing off the new tan that she picked up after spending the weekend in Mexico,
the newly single singer was all smiles (literally!) as she waited for her car outside of Madeo in Beverly Hills last night after dining with pals.
And while Hollywood divorces are typically messy, it appears Pink’s split with Carey Hart is actually something to smile about. The motocross champ recently called the singer the “love of my life.†Pink returned the compliment, saying of Hart, “we are best friends, and we will continue to be.â€

I work for http://www.firstwivesworld.com, it is an online commuity for women navigating through the various stages of divorce and life thereafter. If I have learned one thing it is that sometimes it really is for the best. There are so many couples that go through amicable seperations and sustain very good friendships. Just because someone’s marriage doesn’t work and they are able to walk away friends and in a positive way doesn’t mean there is anything wrong with them, it means that they were able to recognize what was best for both and move on with their lives happily.

I don’t think that they ever really had much of a marriage to be honest. In interviews with both of them they have said that they spent most of their time apart and I think that maybe them being best friends was just not enough. I’ve seen him on the town a few times and he’s always been with Playboy Playmate type girls…the totally opposite to Pink if you ask me. And I stand by the idea that she’s a lesbian. I really don’t think either of them are too upset about the split, it was inevitable.
