Continuing to displace her addiction from drugs and alcohol to outrageous shopping sprees, Lindsay Lohan hits the block in New York City on Sunday with BFF Samantha Ronson for some retail therapy.
In a shocking and unusual display of privacy, the former lovers tried to avoid paparazzi attention by walking out separately from their SUV after lunching together at Morandi.
Lindsay recently bought a two-bedroom New York apartment so she can escape the paparazzi. Speaking about the high-rise property, she told Extra: “The security is fantastic here, which I think is really important. It’s hard to have a private life and keep relationships and that sort of thing, but I had four days off from them recently in Los Angeles and they didn’t follow me at all.”

I think the paps are way better in New York than they are in LA. It’s simply too hard for them to navigate the streets like they do here in LA. If I was a celebrity I would definately move to New York, sure you will still get attention but nowhere near as much.
