Joined by costar Patricia Clarkson and designer Nicole Miller, Canadian starlet Rachel McAdams channels her inner Robert Palmer video girl as she attends the premiere of Married Life at the Tribeca Cinemas in New York City on Wednesday.
In the 50s era flick, Rachel sports a very dramatic with striking platinum blonde hair and a very pale complexion. Going that blonde was an interesting experience, says Rachael. “It’s intense. It was a really fun colour. It was fun to be platinum. I think we forget, because so many photographs are in black and white, that women were very risqué and, at the time, it was very usual to be that blonde.â€
Next up for Miss McAdams is The Time Traveler’s Wife based on the novel by Audrey Niffenegger. Eric Bana plays a man who has the ability to travel through time. She plays his wife. (Not a bad gig if you can get it.)

Haven’t seen her around for a while! Good to see she’s made a new movie. I really like her, I think she’s got a real genuine quality about her that makes her easy to relate to her characters.
