American Idol diva Kelly Clarkson was spotted making her way through the Sydney airport yesterday.
The makeup-free and sweats-clad rockstress is in Australia for her and Reba McEntire’s co-headlining world tour, 2 Worlds, 2Voices.
It must be a dream come true fo Kelly as she has stated many times before that Reba is one of her american idols.

There is something about Kelly that is so refreshing - I like her. She has never claimed to be a model or the spokesperson for Jenny Craig. Like her “look” or not, the girl can sing.

Yes she does look pretty awful but having done the long flight from LA to Sydney many times I know how draining it can be and how you really don’t want to be wearing a face full of makeup. Kelly has changed sooo much since her Idol days…gained weight and just got kind of a butch vibe to her now. Her whole dress sense and personality seems to have changed as well. Strange.
It’s called having no makeup, who wants to go through an aiport with makeup anyways.

Kelly has always been a chubby, unattractive girl but since she has turned pro I think they have done a pretty good job of keeping her looking decent for the most part. Her makeup people and stylists earn their money.
Are you people for real?!?! Kelly looks like most of us. If you saw most of your favorite stars or celebrities without make-up on, they’d look just like, well, the rest of us. Kelly is not so vain that she has to be made-up all the time, or be a size zero. She’s a singer/songwriter, an artist, not a supermodel. She’s confident enough that she doesn’t have to be made up all the time, and doesn’t feel the need to impress such pretentious people that think that’s all that matters. Kelly is one of the best vocalists on the globe, who cares whether she has on make-up, or a few extra pounds. I’m quite certain that those of you bashing are not supermodels, or married to one.
Plus, Kelly just finished the first leg of her sold-out 2 Worlds 2 Voices tour with Reba and is on to her My December World Tour. Why can’t people get their facts straight anymore, or do they just not have enough integrity to care.

Yeah, it’s hard to say anything about someone’s looks when they’ve just gotten off a 20+ hour flight. It’s like trying to judge the prettiness of a baby just after it’s been born.
The fact that someone looks “normal” or “looks like most of us” does not mean much because most of us are not very good looking but we like to look at those who are and Kelly isn’t…..and…..near the end of a 20 hour plane flight most women go to the lavatory and fix themselves up so they look the best they can when they arrive–Kelly evidently did not do that.

Here we go again. Like it would take more than 10 minutes to put on some makeup. Like you’re not a celebrity! If I thought there was even the slightest chance that someone was going to take my picture I’d at least put on some mascara and lip gloss. If only to keep all of us from remarking on it.
I’m not a celebrity but I wouldn’t be caught dead looking like that after a 20 hour flight. People are different and I’m glad that she has all that talent to compensate the lack of other things.
