LOSER OF THE DAY

Resident Big Brother douchebag Adam Jasinski, who has been under fire for referring to autistic kids as “retards,” has now been fired from his job.

Jasinski worked for the United Autism Foundation and his defense for using the word was that he works with them.

The best part? He still doesn’t know he’s been canned because he’s sequestered in the Big Brother house in L.A., cut off from contact with the outside world.

Now who’s the retard?

Nice to know that you’re entitled to call people whatever you want if you’re charged with their care. What a vile piece of work. From what I’ve read, this organization might be a little sketchy, too — one of those places that pockets most of the cash to cover “administrative costs” and forwards only a pittance towards the actual cause. I checked out their website and looks pretty amateur. Even the apology is riddled with grammatical errors.

What I don’t understand is why people work with autistic kids, if they don’t understand or like them. Like Nannies that abuse/neglect the babies/kids. Why work in that field?

I think it’s because they don’t have the skills to get work anywhere else, PSL. I’ve found that many caregiver professions pay so poorly that there’s a real bi-modal distribution in the applicants — you’ll get some saints, but you’ll also get a lot of losers.

But, it seems that despite what this guy implied, he really had very little to do with the children. And his PR position was really more of a telemarketing one.
