New mom Nicole Richie debuts her gorgeous daughter in the upcoming issue of People magazine.
On July 31, Nicole confirmed that she and boyfriend Joel Madden were expecting a child. She gave birth to 6 lbs. 7 oz daughter Harlow Winter Kate Madden on January 11 at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles.

Nicole on motherhood: “It’s almost like I don’t even remember what life was like before her. She gives life a whole new meaning and a whole new purpose.”Nicole on breastfeeding: “There’s just so much I can’t eat because she’s sensitive. I eat really bland food — chicken noodle soup, vegetables, fish. I had to cut out milk, no tomatoes, no lettuce. You think you have to cut everything out when you’re pregnant, but you really have to cut everything out when you’re breastfeeding.”
Joel Madden on his daughter: “She came out and she was crying. The doctor goes, ‘Well, it looks like you got a little girl!’ ”

Nicole looks like she’s more in love with the camera than the baby. The poor kid’s flailing around without head support and Nicole’s making doe eyes at the photographer! Give me a break. The baby’s is cute, yes, but these young Hollywood unmarried parents need to grow the eff up.

btw.. trying to get the perfect pose out of ANY baby is very difficult.. so to assume she is more into the camera or doesn’t care … you weren’t even at the shoot! How do you know this isn’t two hours in when mommy and baby are tired or cranky???
AND I DEFINITELY WANTED TO SEE THE PICS.. so yes, some people do want to see them and I’d rather see them on the cover of a mag than being hunted down by paparazzi..

Only1, chill the fuck out there were like 2 people who said something mean about the baby, not the rest of us! She is adorable YES and she looks sooooo much like Joel.
All moms show off their new born baby! It just so happens magazines pay celebs for photos of their babies and we buy them~ but I think her little one is cute~ None of us came from perfect parents who’ve never partied at least 90% off us didnt so Nicole was young and dumb but I havent seen her do anything flat out stupid since she found out she was pregnant. It seems on this blog no one can do a damn thing right, Nicoles partying and acting 20 something years old and its too much, she grows up and cleans up starts a family and its still not enough…. Good God!!!! FOR ONCE Nicole actually looks healthy and happy and not strung out and skinny and Ill be the first to say good for Nicole…..

Awwwwwww, that baby is precious! She has the biggest, prettiest, most alert eyes of any celeb baby we’ve seen recently! She’s a cutie!! I can’t wait until she’s a little older so we can see how Nicole dresses her!

No one came knocking at my door to offer me millions for my son’s first pictures but if they did, I would be, just as any of you would, be honored. Most new parents can’t wait to show off their child so why should Nicole (or any other celebrity) be any different. Amazing how the jealousy shines through in some of these insipid comments. Nicole has a beautiful baby girl, a doting boyfriend and, by all accounts, a newfound maturity (The Richie-Madden Foundation - hello!) that willl, no doubt be tested by those who love to see others fail because they have shit for brains and NO life. I wish she, Joel and Harlow all the best. They are a beautiful family!

I agree live!, I think the “Winter” should have been dropped, and “Richie-Madden” would have been better…it’s not like Nic and Joel are going to last- you’d think she’d want the baby to have her name too.
her baby is adorable….and anyone say anything different is just a miserable little soul …they want to see harm done to her (talking about the babys health and saying she will have problems) than good…get a life and clue (you’ll never have what she has *which is a filthy rich life* so stop the hating).

Good thing is, Nicole’s father adores her, and I’m sure he adores his grandbaby. That baby will most definitely be loved, and have everything in this world.

She’s a very pretty baby. But she’s only a few weeks old, and her head needs to be supported - even if it doesn’t make for a great picture.

I think she’s a little cutie. She’s still fresh out of the oven and not many babies look too cute at this stage. Nicole looks really pretty on the cover too and her comments seem really honest as well. I think her saying she’s having to cut back for breast feeding though could be a bit of a cover for her weight loss after the birth. Some of these comments are just sick as well, why would anyone ever wish any harm on a little baby…even if it does belong to people who you don’t necessarily like? I don’t get that at all.
Harlow is such a dumb name. The more I hear it, the more I hate it.
