Christina Aguilera’s cover of John Lennon’s hit ‘Mother’ was recently leaked online.
The charity song will be used on Amnesty International’s ‘Instant Karma’ album for charity and is rumoured to be on a re-release of ‘Back to Basics.’

OMG was that horrible! It didn’t even sound like she was singing in tune. And that heavy snare drum. TERRIBLE!
If someone wants to hear a truly beautiful and haunting version of “Mother” they should listen to Barbra Streisand’s version from her “Barbra Joan Streisand” album. It blows this junk out of the water.
I think it is great. I love when she sings without all the drama that she usually uses when she sings live. Her voice is amazing and she does not need all the whoopla.

meh… the girl has pipes, and I dig some of her stuff… but Shelby Lynne did a way more kick ass version of this tune…
WHY???!!?… do artists keep re-releasing albums? its so freakin annoying! i mean honestly, u buy an album and then a coupla months later its ‘re-released’. wat, are u supposed to buy the whole thing again jus for 3 more songs? make a new album and move the hell on!
