BECKHAM DISCUSSES WHY HE SUCKS

LA Galaxy midfielder David Beckham listens to reporters’ questions during a news conference in Seoul Wednesday.

The Galaxy will play a friendly match against FC Seoul Saturday at Seoul World Cup Stadium.

“We’re very excited to be here in Korea,” Becks told reporters today in a room packed with international press at the Lotte Hotel in Seoul. “We’re excited to see the country, and we’re excited to play the game. I’m happy to be part of the Galaxy and happy to be here.”

Meanwhile, the 32-year-old footie has admitted he is still some way short of being fit enough to win his 100th cap for England.

The new England head coach revealed Beckham was not selected for his team’s first match in charge — the 2-1 win over Switzerland earlier this month — because the LA Galaxy star was short of match fitness. Says Becks: “I would love to reach 100 caps, but I have to be physically ready to be part of the team….I have no match fitness.”

Perhaps one less walk down a red carpet and one more visit to the soccer field will indeed do him some good!

you obviously don’t know anything about sports. if you’re injured you need to heal completeley before you play again. unless you want to ruin your carrier. i wouldn’t say that walking down the red carpet and playing a game qualify as the same thing. it’s not like eating before you go swimming.

He was a bad investment maybe it not too late to send him and his ugly wife back. He hasn’t done shit for soccer in this country or his own team and he sounds like Minnie Mouse.
