Dina Lohan has opened up to Us Weekly about the many accusations surrounding her daughter.
Since a tape surfaced of her daughter’s alleged drug use in a bathroom stall, LiLo’s momager says the Lohan girls are just trying to ignore all the talk. Here’s an excerpt from the article:
How is Lindsay holding up with the tape circulating? “We’re not reading anything about it. You can’t let it bother you. We work so hard, then some girl just tried to make money off her [for that tape]. Lindsay doesn’t even know who her friends are.”
Do you think Lindsay is at the clubs too much? “This [premieres and parties] is the fun part of the business. She’ll be 21 in a few months. Regardless, of course, as a parents, you set boundaries and scold them. But there are these dark stories – she is so misunderstood. All she wants to do is act and have a somewhat normal life. When you’re 20, it’s normal to want to go to The Ivy, to go to the hot stores. She can’t live in a bubble.â€
Do you ever worry that she’s pushing herself too hard? “When she doesn’t work, she’s so bored. I’ve told her, ‘Please slow down. Stop!’ She’s growing up and learning to do that. … I’m her mother first: Everything could go away, and I couldn’t care less.”
Am I the only one who could almost see Dina’s nose grow during the interview?

Lindsay is such a fucking mess, and “Mom” just refuses to see it- it would interrupt her lifestyle.
PSL.. why would she?? She gets to ride the insainly disfuctional gravy train her daughter has become… I think a lot of people in Lindsey’s shoes would probably go a little wild, but good home training and stability would either snuff out the fire (crotch) before it got so bad, or step and say “I am not going to allow you to ruin your life, get your ass in rehab and stay there!!!”
Lindsey has no one telling her no and even when they do, the paychecks are still coming and the notority is still making this life hard to escape, even if she wanted to.

sorry - i mean for dina to stop pimping her kids. her mother sees nothing more than money and a way to get her childhood back. makes me look like the mother of the year (and i am a good mom!!).
oh, I know only1……the lines would run out if Lindsay quit partying and working. Dina can’t have THAT!

Why can’t Lindsay speak for herself instead of her mother reporting on her. It’s really pathetic and sad that Dina is trying to get in on some of the fame as well. She seems to be just as attention-seeking and delusional as her daughter. And as if she has ever scolded Lindsay about partying…she’s right in there doing the shots with her!
