Looks like Jared Leto is hungry….for press! Why else would the fallen star go to Joans on Third in Los Angeles?

The former heartthrob was spotted at paparazzi central yesterday while “lunching” with a friend and taking advantage of the beautiful weather.

The 30 Seconds to Mars frontman kept it dated and irrelevant in his trademark grunge-era attire, rocking a plaid shirt, leather jacket, skinny jeans and a pair of Vans.

In other Leto news, absolutely nothing. Let’s face it — if it weren’t for these occasional cafe outings, we wouldn’t know if he was still alive!

    Sorry, you can rip anything you want on him.. but he will still be hot in my eyes. I don’t know why that is, but my god… hoooooooot! *insert drooling noise*
    In my opinion, not yours, so don’t you all go getting your panties in a twist, I think he is a good actor, and I happen to love 30 Seconds to Mars.
    I admit, he’s been a little of a ‘where has he been?’ lately, but he was in a little clip of the ‘Avril in Mexico’.. which was the only thing on that day and I was forced to watch. My god, she was annoying.
    Anyways, he is hot, he’s sitting like a girl which I guess is comfortable for him? But still hot.

    Well, a lot you know, he’s just finished an extensive U.K. and European tour with his band 30 Seconds to Mars ..I think the guy deserves a rest…certainly from the likes of you.Pie.

    He does look pretty gay in this photo. I don’t mind him though, I think he can really pull off his style and I don’t see why everyone hates on him so much. He kinda just keeps to himself and goes about his own thing…not really going out of his way to annoy people. I love his band as well.

    I love Jared and have since his My So-Called Life days. And his band 30 Seconds to Mars totally rocks. He can sing and the music is great :)

    I’m with Stephi on this one. What the hell did this guy do that makes people hate on him this much? He ’s just doing what he loves to do and he’s pretty good at it too if you ask me.

    Uhm, excuse me, He never asks for attention, he has always been extremely low-key.I hardly think he would go somewhere because it’s gonna get him in a tabloid, he is 36 years old for God’s sake.

    Check out 30 Seconds to Mars’ amazing video for A Beautiful Lie; whether or not you like the band doesn’t matter because the video has a important message for every one of us.

    And why all the shit-talk and hate for Jared? He’s a great guy, multi-talented, intelligent (though his taste for women can be discussed), witty and handsome.
